John Leslie Garrett (born 6 January 1963) is a British former international rower.
Garrett represented Great Britain at the 1984, 1988 and 1992 Summer Olympics.
[6] He represented England and won a silver medal in the eight, at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland.
[2][3] Garrett stood as the Labour Party candidate in Fylde at the 1997 General Election, where he came in second place with 31.65 per cent of the vote.
[10] He is not to be confused with John Laurence Garrett, who stood down as the Labour MP for Norwich South that same year.
