John Michael Guidry is an American lawyer who serves as an associate justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Guidry graduated from McKinley High School in 1980.
[1] He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Louisiana State University in 1983 and he graduated cum laude from Southern University Law Center in 1987.
[1] In May 2024, Guidry announced his candidacy for the Louisiana Supreme Court.
[4] On August 20, 2024, Guidry's opponents, Leslie Chambers and Judge Marcus Hunter were ruled ineligible, making him the only candidate in the race.
