John Henry Hamline (1856–1904) was a prominent Chicago lawyer.
John H. Hamline was born in Rotterdam, New York on March 25, 1856.
A Republican, he was elected to the Chicago City Council in 1887 as alderman for the Third Ward, holding that position until 1889.
Hamline died from pneumonia at his home in Chicago on February 14, 1904, and was buried at Rosehill Cemetery.
