John Lamontagne

John Donald Lamontagne[1] (born c. 1970) is a United States Air Force general who has served as the commander of Air Mobility Command since September 9, 2024.

[2] He most recently served as the deputy commander of the United States Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa.

He previously served as the chief of staff of the United States European Command.

[8][9] General Lamontagne has over 4,000 hours of flight in C-12, KC-135R and C-17 aircraft.
