John Morris Dorsey (November 19, 1900 – August 6, 1978) was an author and professor of psychiatry at Wayne State University.
From 1930 to 1935 he taught in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
[3] A bronze portrait relief by sculptor Marshall Fredericks honoring Dorsey is located on the Wayne State campus.
He wrote more than ten books during his career, including "American Government Conscious Self Sovereignty" (1970), “Psychology of Ethics” (1974), and “An American Psychiatrist in Vienna, 1935-1937, and His Sigmund Freud” (1976).
