John Prendergast Vereker (April 1822 – 27 December 1891) was an Anglo-Irish lawyer and politician.
He graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a Master of Arts degree.
This made Vereker the first practicing barrister to hold this office since Daniel O'Connell in 1841.
On 21 December 1858, he married Louisa Medlicott (died 1906).
[2] The marriage resulted in four children, two daughters and two sons.
