John Ramsay (footballer, born 1896)

John Bryce Ramsay (1 September 1896 – 28 April 1917) was a Scottish professional footballer who played in the Scottish League for Falkirk as an inside right.

[4] On 25 May 1915, nine months after the outbreak of the First World War, he enlisted in the 63rd (Royal Naval) Division.

[4] Rising to the rank of able seaman, he saw action at Gallipoli and on the Western Front.
