John Vincent D'Alessio Rowley (12 December 1907 – 30 November 1996) was a South African-born English cricketer and colonial governor.
He was born in Graaff-Reinet, Cape Province, and went to school at St. Andrew's College, Grahamstown.
[2] Rowley made his debut for Devon in the 1949 Minor Counties Championship against Cornwall.
[5] Rowley joined the Sudan Political Service in 1930[2] and served as Governor of Darfur 1953–1955.
[6] He then left the Sudan service and was General Manager of Bracknell New Town Development Corporation 1955–1973.
