John W. Turner (born March 23, 1956) is an American judge and politician.
He then received his Juris Doctor from the DePaul University College of Law in 1981.
Turner was elected Logan County State's Attorney and served from 1988 to 1994.
In 2001, Turner was appointed to the Illinois Appellate Court to fill the vacancy left by Rita B. Garman's appointment to the Illinois Supreme Court.
