Jonathan Richard Bradshaw, CBE, FBA, FAcSS (born 15 February 1944)[1] is a British academic, specialising in social policy, poverty and child welfare.
[3][4][5] Since 2013, he has served as chairman of the policy committee of Child Poverty Action Group.
After graduating from Trinity College London, Bradshaw completed a Master and a Doctorate of Philosophy in social administration at the University of York.
[7] In 1996, Bradshaw was elected a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (FAcSS).
[3][8] In the 2005 Queen's Birthday Honours, he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) 'for services to child poverty'.
