He was signed by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2009 after playing college football at UC Davis.

Compas has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, and Washington Redskins.

After graduating from Carlsbad High School in 2004, Compas played football at UC Davis.

Then in 2007, he earned second consecutive GWFC all-academic honors while managing to start eleven games.

Compas holds a masters degree from University of San Diego in business administration.
