Jones baronets of Ramsbury (1774)

The Jones baronetcy, of Ramsbury, in the County of Wiltshire, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 9 July 1774 for William Jones.

Born Langham, on marrying Elizabeth, daughter of William Jones, Esq.

of Ramsbury Manor, a descendant of Sir William Jones (1631 – 2 May 1682).

Sir William Jones dying before his wife and without issue, the estate passed on to the Burdetts, Elizabeth's sister Eleanor having married Francis Burdett, heir to Sir Robert Burdett, Bt.
