Jordan, Minneapolis

Jordan is a neighborhood in the Near North community in Minneapolis.

It is primarily located in Ward 5, represented by city council member Jeremiah Ellison.

A small portion west of Queen Avenue N is in Ward 4, represented by LaTrisha Vetaw.

[4] The neighborhood is named after Jordan Junior High, which in turn was named after Charles Jordan, the former superintendent of the Minneapolis Public Schools.

Jordan Park sits on the former school location.
