Joseph Badenoch Clearihue (1887 — August 6, 1976) was a Canadian lawyer, judge, academic and politician.
[1][2] During the First World War, Clearihue served with the Fifth Canadian Field Artillery Unit.
Thereafter, he worked as a lawyer and served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia when he was elected in 1920 as a member of the British Columbia Liberal Party for Victoria City.
[1] He was the first chancellor for the University and he served as chair of the Board of Governors from 1963 to 1966.
