Joseph Taylor Gilman (October 4, 1883[1][2] – September 15, 1933) was an American football player.
He attended preparatory school at Phillips Exeter Academy before enrolling at Dartmouth College.
[3] While at Dartmouth, he played for the Dartmouth Big Green football team and was a consensus first-team selection for the 1904 College Football All-America Team.
[4] After graduating from Dartmouth, Gilman was the manager of Filene's Department Store in Boston.
In 1933, he underwent an operation at the Newton Hospital and died the following week at the age of 50.
