Joseph Willis Margeson

Joseph Willis Margeson (April 2, 1880 – October 2, 1925[1]) was an educator, lawyer and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada.

He was born in Harborville, King's County, the son of Otis A. Margeson and Jennie Cahill.

He was lieutenant in the militia and served as captain and then major overseas in France during World War I.

In 1917, Margeson was named president of the Pay and Allowance Board of the Militia Department in Ottawa and he was promoted to lieutenant-colonel in 1918.
