[14] On April 25, 2019, at Abilene Christian University's Oliver Jackson Twilight, Boateng extended his National and School Record in the Discus Throw to 61m.

He earned a provisional mark in the men's shot put at 16.50 meters (54-1 ¾) on his first throw of the season, ranking 17th in the nation.
