Josh Hoover (American football)

Josh Hoover (born February 15, 2004) is an American football quarterback for the TCU Horned Frogs.

[1] Hoover was named the 2021 winner of the Landry Award, given annually to the top high school football player in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Hoover completed 11 of his 19 pass attempts for 119 yards and one touchdown, with an interception in a loss to Iowa State.

[5] In the following week, Hoover made his first career start where he completed 37 out of his 58 passing attempts for 439 yards and four touchdowns in a 44-11 rout of BYU.

Against Texas Tech, he finished 21 of 32 passing for 344 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Frogs to a comeback victory.
