Josh Sanderson

Josh "Shooter" Sanderson (born April 23, 1977 in Orangeville, Ontario) is a Canadian former professional lacrosse player.

[1] In 2002, as a member of the Brampton Excelsiors, Sanderson was awarded the Mike Kelly Memorial Trophy as most valuable player in the Mann Cup competition.

Josh went on to be the leading scorer on the Attack for four years, including setting a new NLL record for assists in a season, with 68 in 2002.

[4] In 2005, Sanderson broke his own single-season assists record with 71, and helped the Rock win their fifth NLL Championship.

[5] Calgary became the third team (after Albany and Toronto) where Sanderson played for his father, who was an assistant coach for the Roughnecks until the end of the 2009 NLL season.
