Joshua Hartshorne (June 17, 1808 – August 9, 1884) was an American politician from Pennsylvania.
His uncle John Hartshorne served as a colonel in the Revolutionary War.
[1] Hartshorne moved with his brother James to Chester County, Pennsylvania, to pursue a career in merchandising.
[1] Hartshorne married Martha Rogers of Chester County on November 4, 1846.
They had two sons and three daughters, Walter, Caroline, Mary Rogers, Mrs. McGraw and Allen Stanley.
