Joslyn Yvonne Hoyte-Smith MBE (born 16 December 1954 in Barbados) is a British former 400 metres athlete.
Hoyte-Smith competed in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, where, as part of the women's 4×400 metres relay team, she won a bronze medal.
She represented England and won a gold medal in the 4x400 metres relay event, at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
[2] Four years later, she represented England and won a bronze medal in the 400 metres event, at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
[5] Hoyte-Smith was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2024 New Year Honours for services to athletics.
