Linsey MacDonald

Linsey Macdonald (born 14 February 1964) is a former Scottish sprinter from Dunfermline, Fife, who specialised in the 400 metres.

Inspired by competitors like Mary Peters she started in athletics at the age of 10.

She was a member of the 4x400 metre relay team that won the Olympic bronze medal.

She represented Scotland at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane and qualified for the 400 final where she was 8th, but won a bronze medal with the 4x400m relay team.

She is married to Christopher Tong, an orthopaedic surgeon and has two sons, Hamish and Fergus.
