Julia Kindt FAHA (born 1975) is a German academic and writer who specialises in ancient Greek history and religion.
Kindt graduated from the University of Munich in 2000 with a Master of Arts in Ancient History.
[1] In 2005, she was selected as one of the inaugural Katharine Graham fellows at the University of Chicago; the fellowship was created by an endowment from the estate of the publisher of The Washington Post.
She argues that other aspects of ancient Greek religion deserve more scholarly attention than they have previously received.
[9] In 2019, she became a full professor in the Department of Classics and Ancient History at the University of Sydney.
