Julia Roy (born 12 December 1989) is a French actress and screenwriter.
[2] After graduating from the Lycée Français de Vienne, she attended the Cours Florent and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
[3] She has appeared in films such as If You Don't, I Will[4] and Eva,[5] in which she starred opposite Isabelle Huppert and Gaspard Ulliel.
She starred opposite Mathieu Amalric in Benoît Jacquot's 2016 film Never Ever, for which she also wrote the screenplay based on Don DeLillo's novel The Body Artist.
[8][9] In 2024, Roy accused director Benoit Jacquot of sexual assaulting her in "a context of violence and moral constraint which lasted several years.
