Julius Mutekanga (born 1 December 1987 in Fort Portal, Uganda) is a Ugandan middle-distance running athlete specializing in the 800 metres event.
On January 21, 2012 Julius qualified for the IAAF World Indoor Championship in the 800 metres.
[1] He qualified for the World Indoor Championships, which took place on March 9, 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey.
He represented his country at the 2012 London Olympics and the 2011 World Championships in Athletics.
He started up a not for profit charity Organisation in Uganda to help the youth through sports and education.
