The station is located at an elevation of +25 meters above sea level and is included in Operation Area I Jakarta.
This station was reopened on 16 September 2009 by Jusman Syafii Djamal as Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia at that time.
The operation of this station is carried out in order to increase the occupancy of KRL Commuterline passengers on the Tanah Abang – Parungpanjang route.
