Justin Raisen

Raisen, a native of Massapequa, New York, lives in Los Angeles where he owns a recording studio.

[5] Other 2019 releases included Kills Birds' self-titled debut LP; Buzzy Lee's EP, "Close Encounters of Our Own Kind"; and a single titled "Mother" by Courtney Love.

[6][7][8] In 2020, KRO Records released the soundtrack for Steven Spielberg's The Turning under exclusive license to Sony Music Entertainment.

[9] After the Lizzo single "Truth Hurts" was number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2019, Raisen, alongside his brother Jeremiah, accused Lizzo of plagiarizing a line from his song "Healthy" and asked to receive songwriting credits.

[2] The Raisens responded in February 2020 by filing a counterclaim, asking for royalties and songwriting credits for the song.
