He was named to the Mid-American Conference (MAC) All-Freshman team and honorable mention all-conference after averaging 15.9 points per game as a redshirt freshman.
[4] Turner averaged 18.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game and was named first team All-MAC the following season.
[5][6] Turner scored his 1,000th career point on a late layup to help the Falcons to a 73–69 win over Akron on February 19, 2019, part of a 23-point performance.
[7] He initially declared for the 2019 NBA draft but withdrew after working out for several teams, returning to Bowling Green for his redshirt junior season.
