K. C. Kondaiah

Kondaiah (born 10 July 1950) is an Indian politician and a former member of the Karnataka Legislative Council[1] from Bellary.

A staunch supporter of the Nehru-Gandhi family, Kondaiah played a significant role in Sonia Gandhi's[2] victory from the Bellary Lok Sabha constituency in 1999.

During this term, he served on the following committees: He was also a member of the Coffee Board and the Z.R.U.C.C., Central and Southern .

He served on the following committees: In 1999, he became the Convener of the Congress Party in Parliament (Karnataka State).

Kondaiah served as a member of Rajya Sabha representing Karnataka from January 2000 to April 2002.
