Kai Curry-Lindahl

Kai Curry-Lindahl, Ph.D. (May 10, 1917 – December 5, 1990), was a Swedish zoologist and author.

[2] He was the head of the Skansen's natural history department between 1953 and 1974.

From 1974 until his death he was an advisor to UN agencies UNESCO, FAO, UNEP, and about 35 African governments from his base in Nairobi.

During most of that time he was also linked to the Swedish Environmental Secretariat.

He was involved with Dian Fossey's work in the conservation of gorillas in Rwanda.
