[1][2] In his first four collegiate seasons from 2019 to 2022, Medrano played sparingly appearing in 25 games, where he notched 67 tackles with four being for a loss, four pass deflections, an interception, and a forced fumble for UCLA.

[3] In week 4 of the 2023 season, he notched ten tackles with two and a half being for a loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble which were all career-highs for Medrano versus the Utah Utes.

[4] In 2023, Medrano appeared in all 13 games for the Bruins, where he totaled 56 tackles with seven being for a loss, two sacks, two pass deflections, and a forced fumble.

[5] In week 9, Medrano notched six tackles and an interception which he returned 38 yards for a touchdown in a win over Nebraska.

[6] In his final collegiate game in week 14, he notched eight tackles with three being for a loss, a sack, and a pass deflection in a 20-13 win over Fresno State.
