Influenced by the new wave and punk rock of the late 1970s,[2] the record enjoyed success in the United Kingdom with sales of over 2 million.
[3] The album reached number three on the UK Albums Chart in 2005, then it reclimbed the charts a year later to reach number two and certified five times platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
