Kaletapwa Farauta

Kaletapwa George Farauta (born 28 November 1965) is a Nigerian professor and politician, who is the current deputy governor of Adamawa State since 2023.

[2] Kaletapwa Farauta was born on 28 November 1965 in Numan Local Government of Adamawa State.

In 1983, she obtained her Senior School Certificate from Federal Government Girls College (FGGC) Yola.

[10] She bagged her first and second degree in Agricultural Extension at the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 1989 and 1995 respectively.

[11] In 2023, Farauta was elected as the first female deputy governor in the North East of Nigeria.
