[3] In high school, she served as captain for the girls hockey team at the National Sports Academy (Lake Placid, New York).
[5] In May 2019, she joined the newly formed Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) and was one of the team captains during the Dream Gap Tour in Hudson, New Hampshire, in autumn.
[6] She was one of the PWHPA players who took part in the 2020 ECHL All-Star Game, where she picked up a goal and an assist.
[7] Flanagan signed with the Boston Pride on December 2, 2021, after not making the final roster for the 2022 Olympic Team.
[9] She participated at the 2017 IIHF Women's World Championship[10][11] and at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
