Kamal Patel (politician)

Kamal Patel (born 6 October 1961) is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He has served as a minister three times in Government of Madhya Pradesh and Member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly five times in 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, and 2018 representing the Harda Constituency).

[citation needed] He has been elected on five occasions as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh from Harda constituency.

[6] Patel was made state minister (independent charge) of Medical Education, Technical Education and Training with effect from 1 June 2005 in the Babulal Gaur-led government.

Later he was promoted to rank of cabinet minister and given the charge of revenue, religious trust and endowment, and rehabilitation departments in the government of Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
