Reeling from heartbreak and shock, Prerna reaches the orphanage and is devastated to see it on fire and assumes Sneha to be dead.

Prerna leaves for Kolkata once again to seek revenge from Anurag for betraying and deceiving her and also for her daughter's death.

Prerna promises to ruin Anurag, not knowing the fact that he is innocent and their separation was actually Komolika's conspiracy.

Anurag and Prerna meet an orphan, and feel a powerful connection to her, unaware that she is Sneha, who has survived the fire.

Anurag and Prerna also discover that their long lost daughter Sneha is alive and bring her home.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay is a reboot of the 2001 series of the same name, which was also produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms for Star Plus.
