[1] Kasulu is located in northwestern Tanzania, near the international border with the Republic of Burundi.

The main food crops are maize, beans, cassava, sweet potatoes and banana.

Industrial contribution to the GDP of Kasulu Town is very minimal due to very little investment.

Kasulu Town is administratively equal to a district and is divided into 2 divisions, 15 urban-level wards and 108 sub-ward (mitaa).
