Kate Panter

Katerine Ruth Panter (born 3 May 1962) is a former British rower.

She competed in the women's coxless pair event at the 1984 Summer Olympics.

[1] As a teenager Panter joined the Weybridge Ladies ARC before Dan Topolski brought her into the British training squad along with teammates Jane Cross, Belinda Holmes and Joanna Toch in 1979.

[3][4] She competed at the 1983 World Rowing Championships before being selected to represent Great Britain at the 1984 Olympic Games, where she was part of the women's coxless pair with Ruth Howe.

[5] She went to Cambridge University where she won three boat races and studied Medicine graduating in 1984.
