Kayode Egbetokun

He was appointed by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to replace Usman Alkali Baba.

[1] Egbetokun was born on 4 September 1964 in Erinja in the Yewa South local government area of Ogun state.

[2] He also received a PhD in Peace and Security Studies from Al-Hikmah University in Ilorin, Kwara State.

[1] As a deputy superintendent of Police in 1999, he was appointed the chief security officer to the then-elected governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, who is now the President of Nigeria.

[2] On 19 June 2023, President Tinubu appointed Egbetokun to replace Usman Alkali Baba.
