Kayono Maeda (前田佳代乃, Maeda Kayono, born 13 January 1991) is a Japanese track cyclist, born in Kikuchi.
[1] From 2009 to 2018, she won an unprecedented 10 consecutive gold medals in professional sprint cycling events at the Japanese National Track Race Championships.
She also competed in the sprint event at the 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships.
[2] On 9 September 2018, Maeda announced her retirement from cycling.
