Kazimierz, Opole Voivodeship

Kazimierz (Polish: [kaˈʑimjɛʂ]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głogówek, within Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the Czech border.

[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Głogówek, 23 km (14 mi) east of Prudnik, and 42 km (26 mi) south of the regional capital Opole.

Historically located in Upper Silesia, in the Prudnik Land.

Three Polish citizens were murdered by Nazi Germany in the village during World War II.
