Kazuro Kikuchi is a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems at the University of Tokyo and a long-time researcher on fiber-optic communications.
He is a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Photonics Society,[2] the Optical Society, and the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers.
He is currently involved in coherent optical communication systems that realize multi-level modulation formats with digital signal processing.
He also serves on the board of directors for Alnair Labs Corporation.
