The Kebo Valley Club Open[1] was men's and women's grass court tennis tournament founded in 1890.
[2] It was played at the Kebo Valley Club in Bar Harbor, Maine, United States.
The Kebo Valley Club was founded in 1888 by Charles T. How and DeGrasse Fox.
[3][4] In 1889 the club officially opened, with the surrounding land held a race track, tennis and croquet lawns, and a baseball field.
[5] In 1890 the club initiated an open tennis tournament,[6] with the singles won by Valentine Gill Hall.
