Keenan Smith (born October 31, 1972, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American television broadcaster who is a reporter/anchor for the morning and noon newscasts at WXYZ-TV in Detroit, Michigan.
[1] Prior to his employment at WXYZ-TV, he was at WPTV in West Palm Beach, Florida, from 2008 to 2010[2] and WGN-TV and CLTV in Chicago, Illinois, before that.
[3] At WGN-TV, Smith's primary responsibility was to provide Tribune-owned cable station CLTV with evening weather reports during the work week.
Smith is a full member of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association.
[5] Smith has been nominated for multiple Regional Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Weathercasting[6] in Chicago and Detroit.
