Keith R. Blackwell

Keith Robert Blackwell (born July 4, 1975) is a former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia.

He was a judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals, to which he was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue on November 1, 2010.

[1] He was later named to the Supreme Court of Georgia by Governor Nathan Deal on June 25, 2012.

[2] On February 28, 2020, Blackwell announced his intention to resign, effective November 18, 2020.

[3] In September 2016, he was named as a possible Supreme Court of the United States nominee by Donald Trump.
