Keith R. Hall

Keith Ralph Hall[3] (born June 30, 1947)[4] is a United States government official who served as the 12th director of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

He also convened an independent body of experts from the defense, intelligence, and corporate sectors to evaluate the future of the NRO.

[5] Bringing the NRO to a financial sound position, Mr. Hall boosted the agency's credibility and made it a government-wide acquisition and contracting center of excellence.

Hall was born in Rockville Centre, New York and graduated from Valley Stream Central High School in June 1965.

Hall was commissioned as a United States Army intelligence officer in 1970, serving until 1979 and receiving two Meritorious Service Medals.
