He played college basketball for the TCU Horned Frogs, SMU Mustangs, and Memphis Tigers.

[3] A four-star recruit, Davis committed to playing college basketball for TCU over Kansas State and Texas.

[8] As a sophomore, Davis averaged 14.2 points, an AAC-leading 6.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game, earning Third Team All-AAC honors.
