Kenesaw, Nebraska

Kenesaw is a village in Adams County, Nebraska, United States.

Kenesaw got its start in the year 1872, following construction of the Burlington railroad through the territory.

[5] Its name commemorates the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain in the American Civil War.

[6][7] In a 2004 attempt to increase the population and school enrollment, the village offered free home lots on the condition that the new owner build a house within a year.

[9] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.79 square miles (2.05 km2), all land.
