Kennebunk is a census-designated place (CDP) comprising the central village in the town of Kennebunk in York County, Maine, United States.

As of the census[5] of 2000, there were 4,804 people, 2,109 households, and 1,284 families residing in the CDP.
There were 2,295 housing units at an average density of 340.3 per square mile (131.4/km2).
34.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 19.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
