Kennebunkport is a census-designated place (CDP) consisting of the central village in the town of Kennebunkport in York County, Maine, United States.
[2] As of the census[5] of 2000, there were 1,376 people, 631 households, and 401 families residing in the CDP.
There were 945 housing units at an average density of 321.1 per square mile (124.0/km2).
30.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
None of the families and 3.7% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.
